John Linebaugh Obituary

John Thurman Linebaugh, Jr., 55, passed on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016. Born Sept. 29, 1960, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, John lived in the Spring City area all his life graduating from Spring-Ford High School in 1978. After graduation, John relocated to Florida in 1986, before resettling in Spring City in 1992. John attended Ursinus College in Collegeville and earned a bachelor's degree in business and information systems in 2011. John had many hobbies and enjoyed horseshoes, hunting, fishing, tennis and spending time with many friends and family members and most especially spending time with Shaggy his faithful companion and partner in crime when he spent time with his beloved brother Patrick.
Survivors include his brother, Patrick Joseph Linebaugh of Spring City, and his sisters Mary Rose Linebaugh Kerr of Douglassville and Kathleen Linebaugh of Great Falls, Virginia. John was preceded in death by his father John T. Linebaugh, Sr. and his beloved mother Mary Ann.
Burial will be held in private. However, relatives and friends are welcome at a Memorial Service followed by a Celebration of Life gathering which will be held at the discretion of the family in the near future. The family will provide notice to all relevant parties once
Memorial arrangements have been finalized. The family requests that any Memorial contributions that may be sent on behalf of John be
forwarded to either the Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 149 Nutt Rd., 5th Floor, Phoenixville, PA 19460 or the National Stroke Foundation. Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center Ltd., Royersford is in charge of arrangements.
