Josephine M. Recupito

Josephine M. Recupito, 92, loving mother and grandmother Josephine M. (Foltz) Recupito, 92, of Parkhouse Providence Pointe Nursing Home, passed away quietly on Sunday. Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Madge (Dornblaser) Foltz. Josephine was a graduate of Washington County Hospital School of Nursing in Hagertstown, MD, in 1938. She was a member of Paramount Brethren In Christ Church in Hagerstown, MD, where she was the hospitality chairman for five years. She liked to play cards and bingo, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Newman, wife of Kenneth, of Perkiomenville, and son, Kenneth Krouse, husband of Esther, of Tempe, AZ; her sisters, Maddie Foltz and Connie Kimmel, wife of Robert, both of Hagerstown, MD; six grandchildren, Michael Allen, husband of Elaine; Marci Thurston, wife of Mark; Matthew Allen; Jennifer Garrison, wife of Christopher; Peter, and Andre Krouse; six great-grandchildren, Nicole Allen, fianc of Ron Hallman; Ryan Allen; Emmi and Luke Thurston, and Bonner and Emma Garrison; two great great grandchildren, Michael Joseph Allen and Lyric Hallman, and her devoted friend, Ray Bradley. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Joseph Krouse, and sisters, Phyllis Schmidt, Doris Breitweiser and Norma Fuller. Services and interment are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Josephine's name to Montgomery Home Care and Hospice, 25 W.
