I worked closely with Kay at Pathway for a good many years. She was not only competent but also quite personable. She had a great sense of humor, yet always was honest and supportively direct in communication - an all around good person. God bless her.

I worked with Kay at the Pathway School until I resigned in June of 1998. She was a great person to work with in her responsibilities as the Director of Human Resources while I was the Educational Director. I will cherish fond memories of our years together at Pathway, and I will will greatly miss her.

I worked with Kay at Pathway for over 30 years, and so I had gotten to know her pretty well. To use the vernacular of youth, Kay was a "totally awesome" person - always kind, understanding, and compassionate. No matter how busy she was (and she was always very busy), she nevertheless consistently made time for anyone with a problem or issue. Her job was not an easy one, but she handled it with finesse and a dedication rarely seen. And she was so good at it, one of the greatest assets The Pathway School ever had. No doubt she made a significant difference as she touched the lives of hundreds and hundreds of people.
She spoke frequently of her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved so dearly. I know she will be terribly missed.
In Winnie the Pooh, Piglet once asked Pooh, "How do you spell 'love'?" "You don't spell it," Pooh replied, "you feel it." So many of us have felt Kay's love. And now she has left her heart with us. And in doing that, she continues to make a difference.

I don't know where to begin Kay, you have been by dearest friend for 40 years. We have shared so much and now I have a big void in my heart. I will remember our first bus trip, the Teddy Bears, Ice Cream in the morning, weekend sitting on your porch talking, and talking. Shopping with You, Lu, Betty all the Lancaster, and mountains. You will never be forgotten May you be at peace now. Everyone will miss you, you were that very special woman. A friend to all. Love you Rosemarie
