Lester Andes Obituary

LESTER CARL ANDES, 86 Lester Carl Andes, 86, formerly of Graterford, PA, died October 8, 2015 in Harrisonburg, VA. In 1929 he was born in Creamery, PA to Henry and Catherine Andes. There he grew up on a farm, married Patricia Gibbons of Pottstown, and moved to Graterford. They moved to Virginia in 1998. He loved his three children and their spouses, Carol Russo, Glenn Andes, and Colleen Andes-Tucker. His nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren were also dearly loved and brought him great joy. Lester was an inspiring example throughout his life. A veteran of the Korean War, he was a determined and persistent individual who was a hard worker, a good provider, frugal, had a strong faith, and enjoyed the good things of life. Some of his favorite things were a hot cup of coffee, a piece of homemade pie, and a good joke. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.johnsonfs.com.

My deepest condolences to the family.The death of a loved one is so devastating and not always easy to get through alone. I found Phillipians 4:6,7 to helps because we encouraged to turn to God in prayer and He will give you peace and understanding as you endure this difficult time.
