MARY A. KOVATTO, 78, OF POTTSTOWN Mary A. Kovatto, 78, of Manor Care, Pottstown, PA, widow of Ross T. Kovatto, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Manor Care. Born in Coal Township, Northumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Shields) Young. Mary was a Sewing Machine Operator for Yocum Knitting Mills and Lifewear, both formerly of Pottstown, PA. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary also loved going to Knoebel's Amusement Resort in Elysburg, PA and watching NASCAR. Surviving is a son Thomas M. Kovatto of Douglassville, PA; also, three daughters Kathy Lynn Clark of Summit Hill, PA, Barbara K. wife of Sam Houck of Richland, PA and Melissa Ann wife of Richard Schul of Gilbertsville, PA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, parents and four brothers. Funeral services will be Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA with the Rev. Marvin Marsh officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown, PA. A viewing will be Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
