Raymond J. Sosa

Raymond J. Sosa, 96, husband of the late Dorothy A. (Stauffer) Sosa, Limerick Twp., died Sunday, May 22, 2022, in Amity Place, Amity Twp. Ray was born on January 16, 1926, in Isabella de Sauga, Cuba, to the late Miguel A. “Mike” and Maria T. (Morejon) Sosa. He was a graduate of Pottstown High School and was a US Navy veteran of World War Two. Ray retired in 1988, from Bethlehem Steel, Pottstown, where he worked over 30 years. Ray was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. He enjoyed flying his airplane, boating and skiing. Ray is survived by his daughter, Shirley Reifsnyder, Limerick Twp., his grandsons, Scott, husband of Christine (Smith) Moyer, Boyertown, and Christopher Moyer, Lower Pottsgrove Twp.; his great-grandchildren, Cody Bauer, Amy Bauer, Miguel Moyer, and Brook Moyer, Ashley (Smith) Stevenson, Dylan Crahalla, and Samantha Crahalla, wife of Janaira Sanchez; his great-great-grandchildren, Aurianna Stevenson, Kasey Crahalla, Cali Crahalla, and Jordan Sanchez-Crahalla; and his brother, Jesse Sosa, Bechtelsville. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and Richard Sosa. A funeral service will held at 11:30 AM, Thursday, at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., Limerick, PA, 19468. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:15 AM, Thursday, at church. Entombment will be private in Limerick Garden Of Memories. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
