Richard Cecchine Obituary

Richard Thomas Cecchine, "Rick" age 50, of Douglass Township, PA, died Dec. 29, 2015 .
Born in Philadelphia, PA on Jan. 20, 1965, he was a son of John Lewis Cecchine of Wallingford, Delaware County and the late Eileen Marie (Walls) Cecchine.
He was a 1983 graduate of Upper Darby High School.
Rick was employed as a service technician with Royal Medical Supply, Pottstown.
One of Rick's favorite hobbies was building models of ships, planes and anything that captured his expansive imagination. He was a lively conversationalist. Rick had a passion for the history and traditions of the U. S. Navy.
Rick is survived by three brothers: Michael (Gail) Cecchine of Wallingford, Delaware County, Christopher Cecchine of Upper Darby Township, Delaware County and John (Maria) Cecchine of Haverford Township, Delaware County.
Other survivors include his Uncle Richard ( Hedda) Cecchine of Tredyffrin Township,Chester County and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew Amey, who died Dec. 28, 2003.
A memorial service / visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to AA District 38, PO Box 135, Oaks, PA 19456-0135.

I was so sad to hear this news, my prayers are with his family. I haven't seen Rick in some time, but he was always smiling and loved reminiscing over all of our crazy antics! I know he is with Andrew now.
