Robert Endy Obituary
Born in Boyertown, Pa he was the son of the late Samuel Endy and Florence (Bauman) Endy.
He graduated from Boyertown High School in 1942, and was drafted to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII in 1943. He was proud to be a member of the 1943 Draftees. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pottstown.
Mr. Endy was employed by Firestone and Occidental in Pottstown for 41 years before retiring in the late 1980's. He also worked part time as a police officer for the West Pottsgrove Police Department. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Lodge, Empire Hook and Ladder Co., Montgomery County and Pottstown Clubman's Association, as well as the American Legion. He also served as past President of West End Fire Co., Stowe, Pa.
He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, loved watching WWE, and Nascar's Jeff Gordon.
He was pre-deceased by four sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include one son, Robert J, of Boyertown, husband of MaryLynn Endy; one daughter, Kathleen Seeley, of Pottstown, wife of the late Donald Seeley; one brother, Harold Endy, of Pottstown, Pa; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Mr. Endy is also survived by a very special person and companion, Christine Feight, who took care of him for many years. He is also survived by her daughter, Jenn, and husband, Peter Scheidel, of Phoenixville, Pa and their four children, whom he thought the world of.
He will be missed deeply.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday Dec. 27, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, 660 North Charlotte Street, Pottstown, PA at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pottstown, Pa .
A viewing will be Saturday morning from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made online at www.woundedwarriorproject.org or a check can be mailed to 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.

So sorry to hear of your passing, "Mate!" I don't remember how that started but we always called each other that! Although we didn't see much of each other these last few years you made a great impact on my life. All those times riding to the Phillies games it was just you and me. The advice you gave me, as a young man, will never be forgotten. We had much fun, especially the time I had to carry you to the car when you missed the curb coming out of Veteran's stadium. Even though you were hurting we still laughed about it all the way home. God rest your soul and hug Aunt Doris, my Mom, and the big guy Uncle John. Find my Dad Andy and tell him I miss him! My sincere sorrow to you Bobby, Kathy, and all your families. I know your Dad "Mate" will be missed!
