Robert A. Grandy

Robert A. Grandy, 61, of Holly Tree Court, Pottstown, husband of Cheryl (Miller) Grandy, passed away on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at his residence. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Robert T. Grandy and the late Janet L. Baker. Robert was a 1973 graduate of Pottstown High School. He was a welder for Brandywine Forge. Robert served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid hunter, Eagles, Phillies, Flyers fan, member of Gilbertsville Fire Hall, and Lower Pottsgrove Sportsman’s Association. Surviving beside his wife of thirty eight years is a son, Eric Grandy and his wife Gina, Pottsgrove; two daughters, Erin wife of Brad Stetler, Douglassville; Rebecca Grandy, St. Clair, PA; a step brother, Charles Catanzaro, Leesport; a step sister, Carmen Catanzaro, FL; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Jace Grandy. Services will be private. Burial will be private. There will be no viewing.
