Robert Minner Obituary
Born in New Berlinville, he was a son of Franklin Minner and Alma (Burns) Minner.
He was a 1957 graduate of Boyertown High School. He worked as a millwright for Federal Mogul, formerly known as Tung-Sol, he retired after 47 years. Robert enjoyed playing softball when he was younger. He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church. He was a life member of Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Company in Boyertown and Liberty Fire Company in New Berlinville.
Surviving in addition to his spouse of almost 54 years are one son Robert L. Minner, Jr. of Reading, Pa.; one daughter, Pennye L, fiancée of Christopher M. Mest of Pottstown; two grandsons, Christopher M. Mest II and Casey M. Mest, both of Pottstown and three sisters, Betty Schott of Boyertown, Gloria Weller of Tucson, Ariz., and Dolores Hartman of Boyertown.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 611 Swamp Creek Road, New Berlinville, Pa. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to St. Andrew United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 434, New Berlinville, PA 19545.

I've known Bobby since high school. Both of us worked at Federal Mogul giving me many opportunities to talk to him. He was a really nice person and I was saddened to learn of his passing. So, to Phyllis and the family I offer my sincerest sympathy. You are so blessed to have wonderful memories to cherish.
