SARAH J. FAVINGER, 89, OF LOWER POTTSGROVE Sarah J. (Dunlap) Favinger, 89, of Pottstown, Lower Pottsgrove Twp., wife of the late Charles S. Favinger, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 at her home. Born in Barrington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lois (Latshaw) Dunlap. Sarah was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown. She worked for Burroughs Corp. in Downingtown, retiring in 1975. She later worked as a pantry supervisor at the Hill School. Surviving is her son Ron of Pottstown, her three grandchildren Jen Edwards, Jill Gillette and Diane Mower, and seven great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her son Paul, daughter Nancy Hess and sisters Florence Matta and Mary Peterman. A memorial service will be held at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin Street, Pottstown on Saturday, June 13 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Visitation will be Saturday, June 13 from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
