Scott Koch Obituary

Scott B. Koch, 65, of Fairmount Township, Columbia County, died early Tuesday morning, July 26, 2022 at his home. Born March 29, 1957, he was a son of Dawn Marie (Frank) Koch, of Phoenixville and the late Charles Koch. He and his wife, Gertrude "Trudy" (Matta) Koch, would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on September 24th. Scott was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and was employed as a machinist. His hobbies included woodworking and writing and he also loved music. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are his three stepdaughters: Dawn VandenEeden, of Parkerford; Diane Kocher and her husband, Brian, of Shickshinny; Michele Ledderer and her husband, Christopher, of Parkerford; 8 step grandchildren; siblings: Doug Koch, of Pottstown; Brenda Eggeling and her husband, Larry, of Pottstown; Glenn Koch and his wife, Wendy, of Phoenixville and 2 nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the McMichael Funeral Home, Inc., of Benton.
