Terry Foulke Obituary

Terry C. Foulke, 69, of Pottstown, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born October 19, 1947 in Quakertown, Terry was the son of the late Charles E. and Arline (Sturtzbecker) Foulke. He and his wife of 48 years, Lynne A. (Seeders) Foulke, were married on November 14, 1968 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Terry was a lifelong truck driver. He began his career in the family business, Charles E. Foulke & Sons, where he worked for over 30 years. He also drove for Interstate Nuclear Services, Royersford, Pitt Ohio, Norristown and Sacks & Sons, Zieglerville. Terry had also worked for Bergey’s GMC, Franconia, in the parts department. Terry served his country honorably in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam War and was awarded 3 Bronze Stars. He was the Founder and President of Pottstown Chapter #565 of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was also a member of VFW Post #780, Pottstown, President of the Joint Veterans Council, Pottstown and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Pottstown Chapter. Terry was proud to have been the organizer of the Pottstown Memorial Day Parade for over 25 years. He was a faithful and active member of Harvest Fellowship Church, Boyertown where he served as a Deacon. Terry enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. In addition to his wife, Lynne, Terry is survived by his children, Tracy C. Foulke, husband of Kristina M. (Kurz) Foulke, Blandon, PA, Tricia L. Foulke, Zieglerville, Tammy M. Foulke, Fleetwood and Tia R. Foulke, Maple Shade, NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Daniel, James, Camrin, Ashley and Jordan and by his sister, Peggy (Foulke) Hvoreceny, wife of Edward Hvoreceny, Quakertown. Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his son, Terry L. Foulke, his granddaughter, Alexis M. Siwik and by his brother, Charles Foulke. Funeral Services for Terry will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:30 am at Harvest Fellowship Church, 584 Colebrookdale Road, Boyertown, with Pastor Barry T. Parsons, officiating. Burial with United States Navy Military Honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Viewings for Terry will be held on Thursday evening, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the church. Contributions in Terry’s memory may be made to Harvest Fellowship Church, 584 Colebrookdale Road, Boyertown, PA 19512.
