Thomas J. Bracelin

Thomas J. Bracelin, 88, went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2021, in his Brecknock Township residence. His wife, Evelyn M. (Ujobai) Bracelin, died on October 8, 2004. Born in Port Providence, Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Thomas P. and Anna E. (Hoffman) Bracelin. Thomas served our nation proudly and valiantly for the 13th Tank Battalion in the US Army. He was one of the last remaining employees of Synthane Taylor, where he worked as an operator for 38 years in the boiler room and 12 years on the Maintenance Crew at Norristown High School. Thomas loved the great outdoors, he enjoyed spending time at his cabin and was a skilled athlete in his own right - excelling at football, baseball and golf. He recorded 4 amazing Hole-in-One’s in his life! Family and faith were most important to him. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Thomas is survived by two children, Thomas J. Jr., husband of Laurie Bracelin, Denver and Tina L., wife of Waverly McAlister; 3 godchildren; grandchildren Seth, Austin, Courtney, Jeremy, Shannon, Justin, Kearston and Mariah; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and his beloved dog Odie. Thomas was predeceased by his sister, Jeannette Daywalt, his twin brother, George Bracelin and his brother, Pat Bracelin. Services will be Saturday March 6, 2021, at 11 a.m. at West Wyomissing Chapel, 2055 Reading Blvd, West Lawn, PA 19609. Burial will be private.
