Thomas Nelson Troxell

Thomas Nelson Troxell, 78, of Pottstown, East Coventry Twp., husband of the late Helen Irene (Rehrig) Troxell, passed away on Jan. 1, 2017 at his home. Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Clarence N. and Margaret L. (Worthington) Troxell. Thomas was a member of People’s EC Church in Lehighton where he was a former member of the finance committee. He was a self-employed mechanical designer and a consultant to BioDynamics, LLC in Bethlehem for 11 years. During his working career, he was awarded more the 60 patents. Thomas was also a U.S. Army veteran. Surviving is son Jason Troxell and his wife Andrea Kerslake of Hagerstown, MD and daughter Lorrie Troxell of Mont Clare; grandchildren Riley Anne and Evan Troxell; and sister Barbara A. Beers, wife of John, of Quarryville. The memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7 at People’s EC Church, 216 Wagner St., Lehighton, PA 18235, with Pastor Kenneth Ogden officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas’ name to People’s EC Church at the above address.
