I remember Channing specifically two times: once when you invited John Sewchuck and I for Christmas dinner, and when he played his trumpet at Colebrookedale chapel when he was still very young. Now he'll give a command performance for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; won't that be Grand!Nehemiah 8:10.

I only knew Channing through a friend, who kept me informed about his illness. We added his name to our prayer list at New Bethel Church in Kempton. I prayed daily for Channing and the rest of your family. I cannot imagine the depth of your grief, but I know all of Heaven had a huge blowout party when they welcomed home their hero angel - Channing! May God bless you and keep you in His loving arms.

Dear Todd,Kendra and your family. It's hard to express the shock we felt at hearing of Channing's death. But it's matched by the delight we had in meeting him several years ago when he was competing at TI with his trumpet, a memorable occasion. He wore the name well, and I am well pleased that he did so. We pray to the Father of mercy and the God of all comfort that He will be your perfect comfort at this time. "It's Friday, but Sunday's coming!"
