Wayne Fried Obituary

Wayne Fried of Spring City PA passed away peacefully on February 27, 2022.
Beloved husband of Janette (nee Allen); loving father of sons Julian Fried and Michael Fried (mother Iris (nee Amann)); Janette's children, Mark Truex (Kara), and granddaughter Madison Truex, and Sister Danielle Truex. Devoted brother of Helene Stahl (Lewis), Richard Fried (Stella Kim), and a loving uncle. Wayne was a lifelong musician and lover of music. On any given day you could find him in the house playing guitar. He also enjoyed a quiet life and tending to his vegetable garden. Wayne loved to travel, was an avid reader and had an insatiable curiosity about the world. He took pride in his long career as a Tech at Penn Medicine Ophthalmology in Radnor, where he enjoyed interacting with patients and colleagues. Relatives and friends are invited to services Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 1:00pm at Limerick Garden of Memories Cemetery (Chapel), Royersford, PA. I always loved working with Wayne in our ophthalmology clinics. He was even tempered, skilled, patient and very, very kind-- to all of us, all of the time. We miss him. May his memory be eternal.
