Albert Barnard Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Albert E. Barnard Jr., 90, a longtime resident of Poughkeepsie passed away at his home on January 25, 2018.
Albert was a truck driver, electrician, and maintenance mechanic. In his younger years he loved motorcycles.
He was born in Montreal Canada on November 1, 1927. He was the son of Albert E. Barnard Sr. and Elsie Watson.
On October 29, 1949 in Montreal he married Jean Belanger. Mrs. Barnard survives at home in Poughkeepsie. Additional survivors include his children, Carole Barnard of Poughkeepsie, Daniel and his wife Karen on Newburgh, Debra Kelly of South Carolina, Alan Barnard of Poughkeepsie, his 12 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sons, Jamie, David and Joseph Barnard and his brother, Leonard Barnard and his great grandson, Brandon Jansen.
There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel, NY.

Aunt Jeanie, I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Albert. He was a very gentle, loving and caring man. I will miss him. I pray that he rests in peace and the pain in your heart ease's soon. I send my love to you and all of the family.
