Anthony Parise Obituary
Highland, NY - Anthony C. Parise, 76 of Highland, NY passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on October 19, 2018. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 17, 1942 in Poughkeepsie, NY he was the son of the late John and Mary (Boris) Parise.
Anthony was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School in 1961. He served in the US Navy as a Radioman and was also employed by Verizon Wireless. He was well known for woodworking. Anthony loved fishing and will be remembered as being "Politically Charged".
Survivors include his wife JoAnn of 55 years; his sons Eugene Parise, Anthony (Deana) Parise & Christopher Parise; Daughter, Andrea (Jason) Collishaw; Brothers, John & Joe Parise and 6 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Anthony is predeceased by his brother Arnold Parise.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10am at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel on 185 Hudson View Drive. Poughkeepsie, NY.
In Lieu of Flowers: Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 501 St. Jude's Place. Memphis TN, 38105.

I still remember the great times we had together at Mt. Carmel. "Pareese" was as they say "a cool dude". May ne rest in peace.

I will always remember our school days at Mt. Carmel. "Pareese" was always full of fun. I had dinner with him at our class reunion and it was like we never missed a beat - even after all these years. He left his mark and legacy for all of us to admire. He will be missed - but not forgotten.

May our Lord comfort you, shine His Face on you, and fill your hearts with His peace during this difficult time. I've known and loved Sabu since our early childhood picnics with the Fusaro's, Boris's, Coleprete's, and Belmonte's at Rudd Pond, Sylvan Lake, and Becks. Just a great guy, whose charm, wit, and gentle manner brought joy and affection to everyone he touched. Good fishing!

So sad to learn of Tony's passing. I've known him over 60 years and have many great PHS and Italian Center "Festa" memories. My thoughts and prayers go out to JoAnn and the family.
