Beverly Peck Obituary

Beverly Edith Peck

April 18, 2016. Born January 7, 1931, in Bath, ME, to Linwood and Elsie Piper raised in Norridgewock, graduated from Skowhegan High School in 1949. Beverly moved to New York, where she met her beloved husband of 62 years, Harold Peck- Married July 24, 1953. Bev and Harold raised their family of three daughters in Pawling, NY: Linda Schnackenberg, husband Kurt, (LaGrangeville, NY) their daughter, Kathryn Kay, her husband, Nathan (Rangeley, ME), and son, Erik (Danbury, CT) and Danielle Bottalico. Beverly was blessed with her first great-granddaughter, Abigail, in July 2015. Brenda Makenzie, husband Todd, their sons Christopher and Alicia Behan and Cory MaKenzie of Saratoga Springs, NY. Cheryl Milliot, husband Greg, and daughter Victoria Tanner of Poughkeepsie, NY.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Harold, brother Charles Piper and his wife, Jean, and several much-loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Dorothy Piper and Eileen Stocker. Near and dear to Beverly, were the children she "hauled on her bus" as she was a school bus driver for the Pawling Central School district for many years.

The Pecks retired to their own "paradise" on Embden Pond, ME, and spent many wonderful years with their family and friends. They recently relocated to Saratoga Springs, NY, to be close to family. Beverly was diagnosed with Mesothelioma in December, 2015. The family would like to thank Saratoga Hospice for their wonderful, devoted care throughout the last four months with special thanks to her very special, Mary Cook and Kelly Foley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Embden Pond Association, PO Box 208, North Anson, ME, 04958, or your local Hospice chapter. Beverly's wishes were to have a celebration of her life at her home on Embden Pond.
