Brian Haight Obituary
Beacon - Haight, Brian "Big Bee / B-Nice" Dale Sr., a lifelong area resident, entered into rest Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center, Poughkeepsie with his family by his side. He was 51.
Born October 7, 1963 in Cold Spring, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Haight and Barbara Heady Haight.
Brian was a former Corrections Officer at Fishkill Correctional Facility, Fishkill.
Brian loved his two cats, he was a fan of the Miami Dolphins, he enjoyed golfing, amusement parks, horseshoes where he played with Mi-ro's and the Beacon Ringers, as well as body building and working out, Brian was a people person who loved spending time with his friends, he was kind hearted and would give anyone the shirt off his back.
Survivors include his two daughters, Crystal Haight Brunner and her husband Brendan of Athens and Melissa Rice and her husband Travis of Texas, his mother, Barbara Haight of Beacon, two brothers, Chip Haight and his wife Patricia of Newburgh and Glenn Portman and his wife Nina of Staatsburg, his sister, Jeanine Haight of Beacon, his grandson, Julian Haight of Catskill, a close family friend, Billy Coleman, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his son, Brian D. Haight, Jr..
Graveside Services will take place Thursday, June 11 at 2:00 PM at Fishkill Rural Cemetery 801 Rt. 9 Fishkill, NY 12524.

To the Haight family and friends. While anyone's passing is hard to accept, the lengthy suffering, has ceased.
Our friend, brother, father and all around good guy is now resting comfortably in his own heaven.
May the Good Lord bless those lucky enough to have felt his presence, and overall zest for life, and know we shall all meet again in a better place.
