Elijah, and the rest of the McLaurin family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Chris' passing. I had countless chats with Chris, when we both worked at PHS, about sports (especially basketball), and kids. I still remember watching Chris "Scorin" McLaurin, and his side-kick Stan "the Man" Murdoch when they starred for the DCC basketball team back in the mid 1970's. The world has lost a truly good person. Please accept my condolences.

To the McLaurin Family,
My deepest condolences to your family. Mr. McLaurin was often stationed near the art department at PHS and I got to know him and witness first hand the love, caring and wisdom that he shared with all- students and staff. How fortunate we were to have had him as a part of the PHS family. The world is truly diminished by his loss. May your memories bring you comfort.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around and whispered "Come To Me". Author Unknown. We didn´t know that morning that God would call your name, In life we loved you dearly In death we do the same. It broke our hearts to loose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories , your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you. You´re always by our side. Our family chain is broken. And nothing seems the same. But, as God calls us one by one .The chain will link again. Author Unknown
