Gardiner - Gardiner,NY. Craig T. Witte, age 44, of Gardiner, NY, died Monday, June 15, 2015. Born on July 19, 1970, in Queens, NY, he was the son of Charles E. and Jane E. Ross Witte. He married Stacey Herrmann on October 18, 2008, in New Windsor, NY. He was previously married to Tracy Schneeweiss. Craig was a New York State licensed trainer of standard bred horses. He was an avid runner. At the time of his passing, Craig was a Manager at Sears Automotive, Poughkeepsie, NY.
Craig was a devoted husband and father. Craig is survived by his wife, Stacey at home, his two daughters, Samantha Rose and Grace Mae Witte, both of Gardiner, NY; his parents, Charles E. and Jane E. Witte of The Villages, Florida; step daughter and step-son, Olivia Rose and Jake Michael Gangemi of Gardiner, NY; three brothers, Charles E. Witte, Jr. of Athens, NY, Christopher J. Witte of Bloomington, NY; and Cletus Andrew Witte of Kingston, NY, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 6pm-9pm at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm Friday, June 19, 2015, at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow at New Paltz Rural Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or online at www.st.jude.org. Condolences may be made to the family at www.copelandfhnp.com.
