Daniel Tell Obituary
EAST FISHKILL - Daniel Andrew Tell, 29, an area resident for 23 years and formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, died unexpectedly on August 16, 2016.
Born in Bronxville on March 27, 1987, he was the son of David Tell and Barbara Tell Ventura. Danny had been the manager of William Tell Hardware in Hopewell Junction for 14 years and had recently started working at Brinkman Hardware in Uniondale. He was an avid golfer and sports fan who loved the New York Yankees. More than anything, he loved helping people.
Danny is survived by his father David Tell and his fiancé Carrie Hess of Hopewell Junction; his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Cesar Ventura of Yonkers; his siblings, Seth and Jennifer Tell of Wallkill, Jessica and Rich Knopke of Katonah, Maddox Tell, and Brianna Harris; his nieces, Sierra, Skylar and Hailey; his nephew, Jake; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved dog, Jupiter.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11am at the funeral home followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this diffucult time. I will never forget your son Daniel and the many times he helped me find things in the store and how he helped me with all my repairs ..... his great big smile gave me the confidence that I could fix anything! I will truly miss him ... but I will never forget him. God Bless Daniel - Rest in Peace.

To the Tell family, our heartfelt sympathy on your loss of Daniel. He will always be remembered for his great smile. Always helpful. God probably needed Daniel to fix something up there and said come on up and give me a hand. Well he picked the right guy for the job. Hey God look out for him you could'nt ask for the nicest and most helpful guy I ever met. May you rest in peace.

Heartfelt condolences to the family of Danny. I didn't know him, but knew his mom and dad from working at the store years ago and would hear stories about him as a little boy. What a tragic loss.

I'm so sorry for the families loss. I knew him because I had visited the hardware store at least three times a week and we always said hello. He was always will to help me when I looked a little lost looking for something. He always called me mr Willam tell because I was there so much. The store when its rebuilt will not be the same without him. My warmest regards go out to the family.

I am heartbroken to hear of the loss of such a wonderful person. He was so kind and always making others laugh. He will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
