I am so sorry for your loss. Dean was an extraordinary person and he was really like a part of our family when he worked for Fleishman Furniture Company. He will be missed. My thoughts are with all of you.

Gertrude and family,

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Dean. I had the privilege of working with Dean for over 10 years at Fleishman Furniture, and knew him for several years prior. His integrity, work ethic, and good humor were always evident, and he was a very special person to all who knew and loved him.

Dean, another friend and I drove 3000 miles to move me and my family to California in 1971, stopping in Galesburg, Illinois to visit his parents and family on the way. I've always remembered that trip, and how thankful we were that Dean was able and willing to help us start a new life. Rest in peace, my good friend.
