Dean Myint Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Dean Myint 47, a longtime resident of Poughkeepsie passed away on January 14, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, NY with his loving family family by his side.
Dean worked for many years as a Mental Health Therapy Aid at the Hudson River Psychiatric Center in Poughkeepsie.
He was an avid Star Trek and Beatles fan. He was the tech go to person.
Dean was born in Clevland Ohio on May 6, 1968. He was the son of Than Myint and Frances Julia Miskovch.
On September 8, 1998 in Las Vegas Nevada he married Laurie Bilyou. Mrs. Myint survives at home in Poughkeepsie.
Additional survivors include his Mother, Frances Coster of Earlton, NY, his step father, Charles Coster of Earlton, NY, his stepchildren; Vincent Parise and his wife Kristin of Hyde Park, NY, Fallin Gumaer and her husband Scott of Hyde Park, NY, his brothers; Omar Myint and his wife Becky of St. Louis Missouri, Matthew Myint and his wife Tiffany of Virginia Beach, Daniel Myint of Virginia Beach, Justin Myint of Hudson, NY, half brother; Nasir Myint of Texas, grandchildren; Kylie, Gavyn,Lillyanna, Jaden, Amaiya, Brandon who was very dear to his heart, nieces and nephews; Kaylee, Imani, Thomas and Alyssa.
He was predeceased by his father; Than Myint.
A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday January 19th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 218 Mill St. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Street level and wheelchair accessible entrance located off Vassar St.
Inurnment will follow in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
