I had the pleasure of working with Debbie at Interference Inc. for several years. Debbie taught me how to temper strength and professionalism with sensitivity-- a skill that I will employ throughout my life. I will always think of her fondly and with a smile. Wishing her family and closest friends peace as they celebrate a life well-lived.

We have all come here today not to mourn but to celebrate Debbie's life. There are many friends who live far and cannot be here today but we all shared our thoughts and I am here to speak for all of us.
No one had a bigger heart than Deb. When Deb loved you it was completely and forever. She wore her heart on her sleeve and it was a heart of gold. She would move mountains to help anyone she cared about. Vivacious, fun loving, cool, Debbie had it all going on. Debbie lit up the room with her smile and her deep contagious laugh and as Rob said her tight tight hugs! Deb was the ultimate Clearview girl. One of the Guys. A guys girl. Everyone shared so many memories of our days at the 209 park and the wonderful summers of TSP. As Roy said Debbie could play basketball better than most guys and ride a horse the way Michael Jordan played basketball. A love of horses she passed on to her daughter Billie and a pastime they shared, So many beautiful memories to always cherish Billie. Billie you were your mom's pride and joy. Everyone expressed how your Mom would grab any chance to talk to us all about you. Her dreams for you were endless and you have already accomplished so much! I look at you Billie n I see your mom. You are so beautiful as she was.
In 4th grade I remember a day in glee club. We sang "You'll Never Walk Alone" Deb broke down in tears as that was her special song with her Dad, her dad she had lost way too young. That memory has stayed with me forever.
On a fateful day in 1990 when I had just lost my husband I ran into My angel "Debbie" on the corner of 17th ave and willets point. 2 single Moms with 2 very special daughters. We understood each other in ways no one else could. We shared so many amazing times. A magical vacation in Disney world, a vacation we would reminisce about to this day. So many special memories of those years together I will cherish forever.
I know life was a struggle for Deb in later years and I only wish I could have made it all better. Rob Rattner and I talked right after we learned of Debbie's passing. Rob said Debbie will be reunited with her Mom and Dad and her beloved Roles, Ivan, Goldie & Einhorn. That thought gives me the greatest comfort.
I will finish up with a quote I heard and loved. "To Live in hearts we leave behind is not to die". Debbie you will be forever in mine and in all your friends you left behind. Rest in Peace My Special Friend.....

Debbie was such a wonderful person and her passing is such a great loss for many, especially Billie, Scott and her pets. Debbie had such a beautiful and charismatic personality which her charming daughter Billie also inherited. Rest in peace!
