Doreen Russo Obituary
AMENIA - Doreen Bolembach Russo, age 41, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT with her family and friends present. She was born on November 19, 1971 in Staten Island, NY to Patrick Russo of Staten Island, NY and the late Judith Bolembach Russo.
Doreen resided at Cardinal Hayes Home since childhood and for the past 24 years she lived in the Amenia home of Cardinal Hayes. She attended school through Dutchess County BOCES and upon her graduation she worked at the Cardinal Hayes WATCH Adult day program. Doreen performed many office and other vocational tasks.
Doreen's life was brightened by being with her friends and family, dressing up for the holidays and parties, listening to music, and indulging in candy. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her sister, Laura Boyd and her husband, Robert and her two nephews, Christopher and Bryan Boyd, all of Staten Island. She is also survived by her Cardinal Hayes Home family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Doreen's life on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Cardinal Hayes Home, 60 St. Joseph Drive, Millbrook, NY at 11:00am.
