Eileen Dietz Obituary
East Fishkill - Eileen E. Dietz, an East Fishkill resident since 1975, died on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Liberty Commons Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in North Chatham, MA, where she had resided since 2012. She was 94.
Daughter of the late James and Lillian (Robinson) Lively, she was born on July 13, 1919. Eileen was born and raised in the Bronx. On October 26, 1940, she married Charles E. Dietz. After 65 years of marriage, she was predeceased by her husband on July 8, 2006.
Eileen was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction and former communicant of St. Helena's in the Bronx. For many years, she served as the secretary for St. Helena's Business School. She participated with the East Fishkill Seniors group as well.
She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Frost and her husband Lawrence of New Caanan, CT; her son, Charlie Dietz and his wife Roseann of Oradell, NJ; her son, James Dietz and his wife Pamela of Centerville, MA; her daughter, Kathleen Lovett and her husband David of Marstons Mills, MA; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Following the calling hours, a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 p.m. at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery.
