Frances Fleming Obituary
Beacon - Frances C. Fleming, 88, a life-long Beacon resident, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2018. She was born on July 13, 1930 in Beacon, daughter of the late Stephen & Mary (Babel) Pardovich.
On March 4, 1950 at the First Presbyterian Church of Beacon, she married Robert A. Fleming; they were lovingly married for 46-years, until he predeceased her on August 21, 1996.
Frances enjoyed many things like jig-saw puzzles, crocheting, playing cards, but most especially being in the company of her family & friends. She will be remembered for being a devoted wife, beloved mother, loving grandmother & great-grandmother, and a dear friend.
Frances is survived by her 2 sons and 2 daughters: Robert Fleming; William Fleming; Diana Megna and her husband John; Donna Fleming-McCollum and her husband James. She was cherished by her 2 grandchildren: Dawn Marie (Glen) Maybaum and Jake McCollum; and also her 2 great-grandchildren: Dereck Meyer and Joceilia Maybaum.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her infant daughter, Maureen Fleming; and her 2 sisters and brother: Mary Sidote, Anna Mae Tomlins-Sandford and John Pardovich.
Family & friends will gather on Wednesday, October 31st at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, in Fishkill, NY, where a Graveside Service will be offered at 11:00am. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Libby Funeral Home, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, NY 12508 845-831-0179.
