East Fishkill - Frank Anthony Baviello died of Covid at Putnam Hospital Center on March 31, 2021 at 2:22 PM. He passed with his family by his side. It was very heart wrenching because he was awake and fully aware of his family's final sentiments.

Although Frank and Rosemarie had a big family themselves, Frankie (as he was always referred to by friends and family) had only a few people left to call family. He did enjoy his large brood thoroughly and their wonderful significant others. He was born June 15, 1957 in Bronx, NY. Rosemarie and he married October 9, 1991 and moved further upstate in NY to raise their family.

Frankie was employed by Lake Service Station located in Hopewell Junction and had the pleasure of working with some of his family. His eldest daughter, Nicole, said they would all have a good time while working hard. He was a very kind and compassionate man. He was an avid New York Mets fan and loved to go to the games, when he could. Each family member recalled some beautiful memories and they all said the same thing at one point or another: "He touched the lives of those he met and everyone he knew loved him very much." Strangers would go to the station just to visit with him. He would sit down and talk with anyone who desired to do so.

Being the nice guy that he was, of course his family had very fond memories of him to hopefully get them through this very difficult time. His loving wife, Rosemarie, fondly recalls that, "He watched the birth of each of our 4 children and he [Proceeded] to exceed every expectation I had." "I watched him care and love them." She will heartbreakingly miss holding hands until they fell asleep at night. "He wouldn't wake me in the morning but would just kiss my forehead and say I love you, honey, see you later."

Nicole, the oldest daughter and child, declares him, "The best dad who anyone could ask for!" He taught her everything from riding a bike, to driving a car, to being a good parent." She would always jokingly make fun of his "casual" dressing style and he would affectionately call her Pinhead!

Sean, his son-in-law remembers his being, "The best father-in-law anyone could ask for. He was a hard-working, humble, and hysterical man. He was a great role model and anyone he ever met couldn't help but love him." It is apparent that Sean would do anything for this family, and especially for his "surrogate" father. And their children, Cadence Genevieve and Sean Lawrence Jr. loved their Papa. It is said that Cadence had Papa wrapped around her dainty finger! Sean had just learned to say "Papa" right before Frankie went into the hospital,.

Michelle, his next eldest daughter, recalls that he, "Gave us the world and he was our world." She wanted everyone to understand that through the hardest and worst of times, he always wanted the family all to be together. She remembers that he was known as the guy who would give you the actual shirt off of his back. Michelle's special times with her father, "Were long car rides to the City; he knew every street and he never needed a map!"

Brianna, the youngest girl, mentioned that her favorite time was, "Watching TV with her dad while sitting in the living room. " Tennis on TV was their first choice. Her other great memory was watching movies with her dad, especially A Bronx Tale. And if she fell asleep, he would [fake] slap her awake!

Little Frankie, the youngest child and only boy, is not so little anymore but the name will stick forever! He and his dad used to jam out listening to Elvis in the car, with the windows down. Their affection for each other was unsaid but Big Frankie loved him! They were never very demonstrative with each other, not unlike many family male relationships. Because of Sean's great efforts, Little Frankie was able to see his dad just minutes before he passed on.

Juan was Frankie's future son-in-law and that term usually conjures up visions of not getting along. But contrary to the "normal" in-law relationship, when talking about him, Juan's voice is a dead give away that he will miss Frankie terribly. When talking to him, one would get the impression that he was another blood son. He loved talking with Frankie and they would go on "ultimate" car rides and talk and talk. They, "Rolled out and just talked about everything," Juan fondly remembers. Juan summed up Frankie's legacy: "He gave you everything you needed, before you'd even ask!"

Frankie is survived by his wife, Rosemarie LoPriore Baviello and his four children: Daughters, Nicole Ciufo (Sean,) Michelle (Fiancé, Luis,) Brianna (Fiancé, Juan,) and son, Frank Anthony Baviello, III. Papa also leaves behind his two, beautiful grandchildren, Cadence Genevieve and Sean Lawrence, Jr. is pre-deceased by his mother and father, Joyce and Frank Baviello, and his brother, James Baviello. He has a surviving brother, Robert Baviello (Tanya.) Frankie's in-laws are his Father-in-law, Ralph LoPriore, Sr, his Sisters-in-law, Benedetta DiCuio (Frank,) Jeanette LoPriore Fox (Dennis,) and two Brothers-in-law, Ralph LoPriore, Jr. (Kathleen) and Michael LoPriore (Jeanne.) He leaves behind his nieces, Madison and Madeline, his nephews, Nicholas, Thomas, Mikey, AJ, Zachary, and Cooper. Sadly his young nephew, Maddox, pre-deceased him.

Frankie Baviello will be cremated and then subsequent visitation will be at McHoul Funeral Home located at 895 Rt. 82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533 on April 8, 2021 from 5-9 PM. The visitation is open to anyone who would like to say goodbye to Frankie. If you choose to come to the services, please dress in jeans and sneakers in honor of Frankie's love for comfort! Add a cashmere sweater (Pinhead said he did!) In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Cancer Society (donate3.cancer.org,) it would be to honor Frankie's earlier battles with cancer.
