Gary Coons Obituary
Clermont - Gary C. Coons, 60, of Clermont, NY, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home.
Born on January 24th, 1955, in Rhinebeck, NY, he was the son of the late Charles Scism and the late Grace (Saulpaugh) Coons.
For many years, Gary worked in farming, construction and auto body restoration. Recently, he was caretaker for the Ray Tousey Farm in Clermont, NY.
He is survived by his step brother Jim Scism of Poughkeepsie, NY, a sister Rose Marie Haner of Hollowville, several nieces and nephews, and his close friends, the members of the Tousey family. He was predeceased by his sister Carol Coons and brother George Coons.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook, on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00am. A celebration of Gary's life will begin at 12:00 for those who wish to share their fondest memories of Gary, followed by the Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, 7412 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY.
