I own the Condo below Grace. She was a great neighbor. I gave her my Proxy Vote for Fox Hill IV as I trusted Grace implicitly. I rent out my condo and all of our tenants told me how helpful Grace always was. My husband and I were in the condo between tenants to do some repairs. We locked ourselves out during a blizzard. Well of course it was Grace to the rescue! She was fiercely independent. Even insisted on shoveling the snow herself. What a fantastic woman. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Grace's passing. She was a beautiful person. I've known her my entire life growing up at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Poughkeepsie. Over the years we enjoyed catching up with each other during the Fall church bazar. I will miss her beautiful smile and loving hugs when ever we saw each other. My prayers to the family. We were all so lucky to have known her.

Our Family moved next door to the Grace and Don in 1965. The way my Mom would tells the story is Grace was over saying hi before the moving truck even pulled into the driveway. Our family shared many camping trips, bridge games, and meals together. Grace had a fantastic smile and always a kind word. Another Angel in heaven.

We were so sorry to read of Grace's passing. She went to HS with my father John Burns. She was a long time bridge buddy of my in-laws Dick and Helen Meyerson. She attended our wedding in 1982. However, there is a special memory that Grace and I shared. I taught many different classes at Dutchess Community College from 1986-1994. One of them was swimming. I was quite surprised the day I showed up at The Poughkeepsie Middle School pool and found Grace in my class. Any time we saw each other after that, Grace always told people I taught her how to swim! We send our condolences to Grace's family and we will keep Grace in our prayers.
