Helen Pantaline Obituary
Wappingers Falls, N.Y. - Helen M. Pantaline, 95, of the village of Wappingers Falls, passed away thursday, August 23, 2012 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center.
She was born in Poughkeepsie on February 25, 1917, the daughter of Frank Ambroziak and Dominika Milczeski.
Helen was proud of her polish heritage, having been born on Clover St. in Poughkeepsie.
She was a loving Mom, Grandmother and Mimi, Aunt Helen's humor will be strongly missed by all.
A member of St. Marys Church, she belonged its Mothers Guild, the Altar Rosary Society, and the Third Order of St. Francis of Mt. Alvernia.She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School in Poughkeepsie and was married there on September 7, 1947 to John A. Pantaline who died on August 24, 1969.
Survivors include her children, John F. Pantaline and Paula, Anne Pantaline, both of Wappingers Falls, and Robert Pantaline and Kathleen of Vermont, Grandchildren, Beth Huber, John J. Pantaline, Michael P. Pantaline, Laura L. Pantaline, Lisa N. Pantaline and Karola Pantaline, Great Grandchildren, John J. Pantaline, Kelly H. Huber, Meghan Pantaline, and Zoe Pantaline, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Stella Starpoli, Jane Melhado, Josephine Albano, and Gertrude Brancato-Catanzaro.
Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Sunday from 3 to 7 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Church, Clinton St., Wappingers Falls. Burial St. Marys Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Marys Church, Clinton St., Wappingers Falls, N.Y. or St. Joseph's Church, Lafayette Pl., Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

God be with Aunt Helen. She was a great lady. My daughter Sarah and would go and visit with her and talk of the old days with my mother Stella and all the sisters.
She was our last link to the early Ambroziak history. Unfortunately we are up in Maine and cannot attend the services. Our sympathies to cousins John, Anne and Bob. The 5 sisters are together again in heaven. Chris Starpoli
