"Jimmy" Brink

PLEASANT VALLEY - James Madison Brink (aka Jimmy) died peacefully at his home on July 31st.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Mary Lynn Minard-Martin who was his best friend, soulmate and love of his life. Jimmy was employed by Malcarne Contracting for 18 years as a contractor. James loved to fish, spend time with his family and work on his car. He also enjoyed the quality time he had with his son-in-law who accomplished many projects together. Jimmy is survived by his mother Mary Brink, his only son Joseph Martin; his three daughters, Tanya and husband Ricardo, Jade, Meghan and her fiance' Dan. Jimmy is also survived by three brothers Allen, Sonny and Billy; five sisters, Mary, Dee-Dee, Gerogette, Cindy and Kimmy. Jimmy was predeceased by his father, Wilbur Brink and sister Joanne (GoGo).

James is also survived by five grandchildren; Tiana, Jordan, Kearra, Terrance and Rhian. Jimmy was anxiously awaiting the birth of his third grand-daughter, Julianna Madison Burney. Jimmy also had an abundance of close friends and his side kick Nina. Jimmy was loved by all that knew him and would help anyone that was in need. He will be greatly missed.

Jimmy will lie in repose 9-11am Saturday, August 4 at Rhodes Funeral Homes, Chapel 43, Fairview Avenue, Poughkeepsie. Services 11am at the chapel. Pastor Rhoan Richard officiating. Interment at Wappinger Rural Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. Professional services entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Homes, 43 Fairview Avenue, Poughkeepsie."Committed To Being The Very Best".
