Jerry Latimer Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Jerry Latimer, 70, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away Fri., Aug. 3 ,2018, at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N. Y.
Jerry was born on Sept. 15, 1947 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., to Lydia Mae and Milton Latimer. He was one of thirteen children, with six sisters and six brothers. He drove trucks for the laundry service at St. Francis Hospital, now MidHudson Regional Hospital, in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., for more than 30 years before retiring. He loved soul music, sports cars, spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends, making repairs around his home and exercising.
Jerry is survived by his son, Corey Latimer, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and daughters, Gerri Latimer, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and Daisy Pettei of Greenwich, Conn.
A funeral service will be held Thurs., Aug. 9, 2018, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Hyde Park, N.Y. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home or, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie, 10 Children's Way, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

So sorry to read about your loss. Jerry and I were classmates at Morse Jr. High School in 62/63 school year. Can remember wrestling with him during gym class. Fun guy. May God heal your aching hearts.
