Upon moving from Brooklyn to Poughkeepsie, my wife and I met Lila and Mel. Their home was the first I designed there . It was a wonderful experience. They became among our dearest friends.
We were all amused to learn the following:
Lila and I were both born in Brooklyn in 1923
we both studied for our future careers at Pratt InstituteLila as a Dietitian and I as an Architect.
I'm now retired, with a number of active hobbies, baking is the most satisfying. I thank Lila for that influence and think of her often. I just wish she could taste my creations!
With loving memories from the both of us.
