Mark was a good friend from a distance, I met him at a flight simulation convention, and worked on a sound project for one of his added on programs for flight simulation. His kindness touched my heart. Mark, you are sorely missed, and I'm sad that his battle with the horrible disease was finally lost, but he lived life to the full, so not at all wasted. I bless his memory and I am pleased I at least got to talk to him before he passed. Sorely missed, rest in eternal peace. Martin from Porchester near Portsmouth, UK.

Mark spent a lot of time on the online flight simulator community. I was especially amazed by his knowledge on the DC3 and the old Hong Kong airport and was sad to hear of his departure. Memory Eternal!

I remember Mark from back in the late 1960s when he used to drive a "frog eyed" Austin Healey sprite. I think it was red. I used to enjoy social (drinking) evenings with him and other friends.
Interesting that he found a career on cruise ships - his charm would certainly be an advantage. I've recently been a Cruise Ship Chaplain several times in my retirement.
I've not seen him since about 1970, but was sad to hear of his death. My prayers for him and his family at this difficult time.
May he rest in peace.
