Marlene Allen Obituary
Hyde Park - Marlene Allen, age 65, of Hyde Park, died Monday, June 20, 2016 at home in Hyde Park. Ms. Allen was born August 2, 1950 in Provo, UT. She is the daughter of the late Louis and the late Amelia (Syrotchen) Belcastro.
She was employed by IBM Poughkeepsie. Marlene was a local resident most of her life. She enjoyed Christmas Eve with her family.
Marlene loved to cook and bake, she enjoyed gardening and she was very artistic and creative in writing poetry.
She is survived by her sister and brother in-law Mary Ann and Frank Carione of Hopewell Jct, NY., her niece Stephanie Lazerus and her husband Andrew of Manhattan and her nephew John Carione of Boston MA. Marlene also had two great nieces Maia and Tessa Lazerus.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Monday, June 27, 2016 at St. Peters Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, NY.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603.

SO SORRY TO LEARN OF MARLENE'S DEATH. SHE WAS ONE OF MY SIX ROOMMATES AT GRACE DOWNS AIR CAREER SCHOOL IN GLEN COVE, NY. I WILL TRY TO CONTACT HER SISTER, MARY ANN, AND LET THE OTHER ROOMMATES/CLASSMATES KNOW AS WELL.

Mary Ann and family. I am shocked and so deeply saddened to learn of Marlene's passing. She & I have been friends since 1981. Neither one of us did pics, so the only ones I have of her are from when she was in my wedding, and the bridal shower in 1982.
