Michael Zarrelli Obituary

Michael A. Zarrelli, 89, a resident of Dutchess County since 1972 and formerly of the Bronx, died on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at his home.

Born in the Bronx on November 28, 1921, he was the son of Anthony and Theresa Zarrelli.. He proudly served our country during World War II. Michael was employed by the City of New York Highway Department for 35 years until his retirement in 1976.

Michael married Nancy Pinto in 1957 in the Bronx and she predeceased him on April 12, 2009. He is survived by his children, Michael Zarrelli of Wappingers Falls and Kim Zarrelli and her husband Peter Housekeeper of LaGrange; and his grandchildren, Tony Zarrelli of Claverack, Michael John Zarrelli of Wappingers Falls, Marissa Zarrelli of East Fishkill, Dylan Zarrelli of Wappingers Falls, Jessie Zarrelli of LaGrange, Eric Housekeeper, Ryan Housekeeper, Kristy Housekeeper and Kelsey Housekeeper.

The calling hours will be on Tuesday from 12 - 1 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.
