Nancy McNeill Case

Vero Beach, FL - Nancy McNeill Case, 75, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Saratoga Memorial Hospital in New York. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 10, 1939, the daughter of Archibald and Wilhelmina McNeill.

She is predeceased by her brother, Malcolm McNeill. Survivors include a son, Bruce Case and Marilyn Cox of Saugerties, NY; and a grandson, Tyler Case, and many close friends. Nancy had a great passion for life. She was a ray of sunshine and a source of inspiration to all her family, friends and co-workers.

She was a registered nurse for many years. She worked at Sharon Hospital in CT, Vero Beach Hospital in Florida, and most recently Palm Gardens Nursing Home in Vero Beach, FL. Nancy had many interests. She was a member of the Saratoga Golf & Polo Club, and the Pointe West Golf Club in Vero Beach. She loved golfing, dinner parties, gardening, and she enjoyed going to Nantucket and the races at Saratoga every summer. She also enjoyed boating and being near the ocean.

There are no callings hours. Funeral service and burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev. Carol Miller, officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to The Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave. Bethpage, NY 11714. I am very saddened to hear of Nancy's passing and express my sympathy to her family..I have worked with Nancy for many years here in Vero Beach and it was always fun..She had the greatest sense of humor..I will miss her very much..Teresa Hockx
