Nancy Young Obituary
Stanfordville - Nancy C. Young, 64, of Stanfordville, NY, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Golden Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation in Kingston, NY.
Nancy was born on May 14, 1953 in Rochester, NY, to the late David Joseph and Margaret (Flynn) Curtin. Nancy met Robert Young on June 17, 1972 and married Robert on June 29, 1983 in Bethel, CT and he survives at home in Stanfordville.
Throughout her life, Nancy was a devoted wife, a giver, lover of all creatures, homemaker, baker, musician, singer, songwriter, poet, equestrian, designer and artist.
In addition to her loving and devoted husband, Nancy is survived by her brother, Timothy (Cheryl Steele) Curtin of Danbury, CT; her nephews, Christopher Leo Curtin, Timothy Quinn Curtin, Erastus Galen Curtin, and David Curtin; her niece, Johanna (Jen) Curtin; her father-in-law, Lester L Young of Colorado; her sister-in-laws, Rainae Conarty of Colorado and Cathy Young Dennerine of Colorado; along with numerous extended family and friends.
Three brothers, Richard Doug Curtin, David Curtin Jr. and James Flynn Curtin, predecease her.
Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at St. John's The Evangelist, Barrytown, NY. Rev. Mary Grace Williams will officiate. Burial will be at St. John's Episcopal Cemetery, Barrytown.
Memorial donations may be made in Nancy's memory to an animal rescue of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Burnett & White Funeral Homes 7461 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY.
