Paul A. Casiero

Highland - Paul A. Casiero 66, a longtime resident of Highland passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie on August 26, 2012.

Paul graduated from Highland Highschool and Ulster Community College.

Mr. Casiero was an owner of two Down to Earth Health Food Stores located in Hartford and Southington CT. He also was most recent a phone consultant for IBM in Poughkeepsie.

Paul was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Saugerties. He loved to fish and golf and was an avid Jets fan.

He was born in Manhattan, NY on April 25, 1946. He was the son of Anthony B. Casiero and Angela Centonze Casiero.

Survivors include his mother Angela Casiero of Highland, his brothers Leonard J. Casiero and his wife Lovell of New Freedom PA, Anthony Casiero and his wife Patrice of Hicksville Long Island, his nieces Deena Casiero, Corrine Masterson, Cassandra Casiero, great niece Riley, great nephew Aiden, his aunt Marie Arena, his uncle Olaf Olson and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his father Anthony B. Casiero and his first wife Carol Schwartz Casiero

Calling hours are Wednesday August 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 38 Main St. Highland, NY 12528.

A Mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated Thursday August 30th 10:00 am at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Church in Highland. Burial will be private.
