Paul Glebatis Obituary
POUGHKEEPSIE - Paul L. Glebatis passed away on Wednesday, July 22nd, surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born in Albany, New York on September 10, 1950 to Ellen Newbury and John H. Glebatis.
He graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 1969. Paul was a sergeant in the infantry during the Vietnam War era. As a Central Hudson employee, Paul attended welding school. He was a gas streetman and a crew chief in Central Hudson's Gas Department. Paul enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years Kathleen Capers Glebatis, son John Glebatis, daughter Lisa Glebatis Perks, son-in-law Joshua Perks, and grand-daughters Hazel and Rosaleen. He is also survived by his sister Susan Glebatis Coviello, brother-in-law Edward Coviello, and sister-in-law Lisa Glebatis. Paul was pre-deceased by his brother Robert Glebatis.
Arrangements are being made by William G. Miller & Son Funeral Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 26th from 2-5 at the Funeral Home.. Special prayers and military honors will be at 5:00.
