Robert Dryer Obituary
Poughkeepsie - Robert "Bobby" "Bob" David Dreyer Jr. 72, of Poughkeepsie, NY, died on December 14, 2015 at home. Born in Newburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Robert D. Dreyer and Jane M. Pollock of Poughkeepsie, Bob was the companion of 29 years to Mary Alice Cesa.
Bob graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 1961. He had a career in the US Air Force spanning 20 years, including tours in Germany, Greece, Vietnam and several duty stations in the US. He was a Master Sargent. MSGT, (ret).
Bob had a passion for; politics, classical music, photography, chess, shooting, history, and audio books.
He is survived by a daughter Diana Lavoie, and husband Michael of Pace FL, two brothers Gary Dreyer, and wife Darla of New Windsor NY, Brian Dreyer, and wife Brenda of Austin TX, and two daughters of Mary Alice Cesa. Rebecca Gallagher, and husband David of Ephrata PA, Rachel Farzin, and husband Safa of Harrisburg PA, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 4 Nieces and nephews, 4 Great Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 4-6 PM at the Parmele -Auchmoody and Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
Please OMIT flowers. Contributions may be made to St. Jude's or the Salvation Army (In Memory of Robert D. Dreyer Jr.)

My deepest sympathies to his daughter Diana and her family , and to both his brothers Gary and Brian Dreyer, and there family's . I know this is a very difficult time for all of you. Diana your daughter's Christmas card was absolutely one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen . My thoughts and prayers go out to you all . Love Candy Turco. (Brian's sister-in-law)
