Poughkeepsie - Formerly of Poughkeepsie, Robert E. Schaefer died on January 6, 2021 at the age of 90. Bob is survived by his devoted and beloved wife Carol, his loyal dog Samson, his sons Roger Schaefer, Durham NC, Karl Schaefer (His wife Renee), Indianapolis IN, Thomas Schaefer (his wife Carol), Conover NC, David Schaefer (his wife Jennie) Fremont CA, his Step children Freeman Marshall, NY, William Marshall, NY, Judith Wirges (her husband Scott) Hopewell Junction NY, Louis Olivetto Jr. Poughkeepsie NY, Laura Farnung, Webster NY, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Graveside Memorial July 17th, 11:00 am at The Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery 342 South Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 in the Mausoleum.
