Robbie was a very good friend of my father Richard Savino. Robbie lived with us a for a while when I was a kid, and I have such fond memories of him. He was such a good-hearted and funny person, he had me laughing all the time.
One funny story I would like to share: My sister had to keep her hair big, as was the style at the time, and her and her friend would spray their hairspray all over the bathroom where Robbie's toothbrush was. He would always joke that the bristles couldn't move anymore, or that he had ingested more hairspray that was recommended.
The Lion King was my favorite movie when he was staying with us, and he bought me this lovely light-up ornament for the Christmas tree. He was always doing kind things and making my whole family smile and laugh.
He also came to my father's funeral and paid his respects with such honesty and sincerity.
I am so sorry after he finally found the love and happiness that he deserved that he had to leave this world all too soon. My love and respect to his family, his wife, his kids. I'm so honored I got to be a part of his life.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Robbie. Robbie was a long time friend of my fathers. They met at Friehofers when I was very young and stayed friends till my father passed in 2006. Robbie had a great smile and a wonderful sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

My sincere condolences to the Skillman family. I've worked with Robbie for over 30 years. He was a true friend and a brother in Christ. He often spoke about God and his faith in Him throughout his life, especially during his illness. He was a perfectionist in his work and an inspiration to be around. Coming to work will never be the same as he will be greatly missed.
God bless you all as you grieve and also celebrate his life. He is now face to face with The Lord whom he loved while he was on earth.
