Ed and Ron taught together at Dover H.S. for many years, and became the best of friends. Ed & I spent some wonderful times with Ron & Janet, through our move to Maine, and again when we moved back to the area.
Ron was a good man, who had such a great sense of humor, and was a friend to many. My family and I send our regards to Janet and to all the family. He will be greatly missed.

For Janet and the family, my heart is heavy having learned of Ron's passing. I have so many happy memories of teaching with Ron and then working for him as he served on the Dover BOE. To me, a young teacher, he gave much support and guidance when I joined the staff. We became friends and shared many lunches together over the years (including Janet's cookies!). I was so honored when he spoke at my retirement; he truly supported me from start to finish. I will always cherish Ron's keen sense of humor and his warm friendship. Goodbye, my friend.

He helped me develop confidence in myself when I was a student in Dover High. I loved playing Basketball during my youth and he carried me on the team not because of my ability, but because I was the first one to be at practice and the last one to leave. His daughter was also an outstanding employee working at the Millbrook DMV. I send my condolences to the family will surely miss him.
