Lagrangeville - Ryan Doherty Born August 26th 1993, died peacefully at home May 26, 2017
Born in Poughkeepsie NY to Darren and Melanie Doherty, he is survived by his parents, brothers Alex and Evan, his finance Alexandra and his adorable son Rhett. His paternal and maternal grandparents and many aunt's uncles and cousins
Ryan attended Arlington High School and was part of the JV Lacrosse team's undefeated season and proudly played varsity lacrosse there with many great friends on the field and off. Many of his greatest memories and friendships were formed at an early age on the fields with the founders, coaches and teammates of Lagrange Lacrosse. To whom our family fondly admires and will always be thankful to.
Ryan graduated from the University of Tampa and worked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay lightning during college
Recently he worked with his family and many friends at the Package Pavement Co in Stormville NY in the quality control department as he did many summers throughout high school.
Ryan loved music and was an avid guitar player, he enjoyed riding motorcycles snowmobiles and snowboarding with his family and friends. He especially loved spending time at his Uncle Paul's house fishing, swimming and bringing smiles to all he touched.
He will be dearly missed by all.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday June 1, 2017 from 4pm to 8pm at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12603. Funeral Services will be held 10am Friday June 2, 2017 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Melanie and Darren, Alex, Evan, Alexandra, and Rhett--I am so sorry and sad for this great loss. Since we moved out of the area, I last saw Ryan when he was about 4 years old playing with my own sons. My heart reaches out to you--Love never dies.

To the Doherty family. Ryan was one of our son Kyle Maniuszko's best buddies in his middle and high school years and beyond. Ryan spent some fun times at our house, giving Kyle special memories he will always cherish. Kyle broke the sad news of Ryan' s passing to us and it hit us right in the heart. As parents of two boys ouselves, how could it not. We can only imagine a very small fraction of what you are feeling... how you are processing such sadness and loss. But there is one thing that can give you strength... Gods love for Ryan. for you, for all of us. He was there with Ryan. He is there for you now.
