I can't believe it's already two years since we lost our Stew, such a precious man of God. I still have the beautiful remembrance card of Stew on my shelf in the kitchen.
One very special memory I have of Stew is a prayer he prayed over me when I received a positive result on a Melanoma. He was busy, but he stopped what he was doing, took me to a quiet corner and prayed such a heartwarming prayer to our Heavenly Father for me. I will never forget that "hallowed" time. Stew knew in a very personal way our Father and I was so comforted.
It's so precious to Bruce and I to see David, Stews beloved grandson following in Stews service, greeting and standing in for his Grandad!
Blessings to "momma" and the precious family of Stew. Stew was and still is much loved!

Stew is home with Jesus, but we who loved him here will miss him dearly! Stew was one of a kind, warm and welcoming as we came to worship. He sure loved his family. I would ask him how he was doing, his reply was always, pray for Momma! He always put others a head of himself. I wonder which gate God has put Stew in charge of greeting new arrivals.
Eileen, we're praying for you and your family that God's comfort will surround you and hold you close!
We're so sorry for your loss! Blessings!

Stew is greeting saints where God has assigned him. I learned the joy in seeing others, by watching Stew. I and others will miss his smile and hugs, especially after a long day... but I still smile as I walk into church on a Wednesday night. To his family, keep remembering Stew's great heart, sorry for your loss on earth...Stew is waiting for you in a glorious place.

Very sorry for the family's loss! Stew was a blessing to me and my family when we lived in NY. We only knew him coming into church on Sunday, but he made us feel like he knew us by remembering prayer requests we had. God bless his family!
